How long will my order take to send?
Orders take around 7 – 10 days plus delivery time. It really is dependent on the time of year – wedding and planting season, ie, February to September, sees us inundated with orders. It is also very much dependent on what you have ordered – many of our products need to be personalised and this takes longer than off-the-shelf items such as paper. That said, we can often accommodate short-notice orders – please contact us if you need your order as a matter of urgency (please see below section on urgent orders).
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY OUR DELIVERY OPTIONS INFORMATION BELOW – we know, it does seem rather tedious (yawn), but it will explain a lot and save any annoyance later if you don’t get delivery when you expect it!
There are two delivery options:
First class delivery
Applies to all non-personalised items, and orders up to a value of £25.00. If you need your order urgently, please see our URGENT ORDERS section below.
Please note that first class delivery is not always next day and can take a few days to arrive. Royal Mail does not guarantee next day with first class. If you need your order urgently please see the relevant section below. We also offer a tracked service.
This option is trackable and requires a signature. This is the default delivery option for orders over £25. This is because the compensation level is higher if orders go astray, it is trackable and a signature can help with finding out who signed for it if delivery is in, say, a workplace.
If you must have your order the day after you place it or very soon PLEASE PHONE US OR EMAIL. This is because not all orders can be done the same day, especially personalised ones. Please also phone us if you have a deadline – please do not include deadline dates in the notes of your order as we will not see it until we open your order and it may be too late by then.
DELAY, LOSS OR DAMAGE
Please let us know immediately of any damage or delay caused with the delivery of your order, so that we can start a prompt claims process with Royal Mail. Please allow a reasonable time for delivery with regard to non-trackable items before claiming a loss from us as Royal Mail will not consider anything lost until 15 working days have elapsed. Once parcels leave us they are at the mercy of Royal Mail and we have no control over their tender care so please do not get cross with us if delays happen.
If a parcel is returned to us because the customer was not in to sign for it, or a card was left and the customer did not rearrange delivery or pick up, there will be a further re-delivery cost to be paid. If the customer is not in and doesn’t contact the courier to rearrange delivery, then an additional charge of £12 will be made to cover the charge made to us by the courier company for returning.
